Book review "Lies The Government Told You" by Judge Andrew P. Napolitano

Do you believe everything you read and hear? Some of it may be true, but some are lies. And when the government is speaking, they may be lying. Actually they lie alot. And often they use the phrase "doing this for the benefit of the people" as the reason. The book "Lies The Government Told You" by Judge Andrew P. Napolitano gives many examples of these instances. This book gives liberals and conservatives reasons to be concerned. Beginning with our country's early history, Napolitano gives examples of lies we have been told time after time. And how the government construes the facts to tell us, the tax paying public, one thing, while doing sometimes the opposite, and telling us it's for our own good. Judge Napolitano 's book deals with issues including slavery, (Lie #1,All Men Are Created Equal. Lie # 6 deals with 2nd amendment rights on gun ownership. Lie #10 I'm from the Government, and I'm Here to Help, etc. The Judge touches on 17 different lies we have been told by our government. This book is eye opening reading, and I recommend it to anyone who is concerned and interested in our
civic affairs.
